Have you ever been interviewed by cow dung, a dog’s knucklebone, a wild thistle, or exiled okra?

Museum of Exhalation,

features ants, plants, seeds, bees, bones, and stones interviewing human researchers. Unlike traditional interviews where humans are expected to inquire about their subjects, our contributors took a deep breath and enjoyed deriving meaning from the presence of one other. The resulting texts not only capture new relations formed among humans and non-humans, but also offer insights about how different types of urbanization, environmental and climatic changes, and ecological realities shape us together.

The book includes contributions by
Nazlı Pişkin, Vedat Onar, Jake Winiski, Nazlı Arda, Aleksandar Shopov, Marisol de la Cadena, M. Namık Yalçın, Dietmar Offenhuber, Pelin Tan, Chantel White and Eda Hisarlıoğlu

Both the English and Turkish versions of the book are freely distrubuted at the installation site at Muze Gazhane, please email if you like to receive an additional copy.
