A number of outlines frame and contain different elements on the installation site. They work as interfaces between local elements and what is brought from Langa.

Outlines

They contain seeds, rocks, trash, and soil that actively engage with the local ecology from cats to birds, snails, harvester ants and so on.

The rocks inside the outlines are contemporary with the rocks found during the archeological excavations in 2008.

It is assumed that the rocks have been brought to Langa by Neolithic communities who occupied the site while it was primarily a swamp (~8000 years ago). The rocks might have been used to stabilize the ground and building walls to ease the settlement
